About Louis Lamoureux

Louis Lamoureux, Founder

Louis has thirty years of experience in consulting. He was a Partner at Deloitte Consulting and at Ernst & Young. Louis lost a loved one to the opioid epidemic and decided to focus his consulting work on helping companies become recovery friendly. He created the methodology that is used by Recovery Friendly Workplaces Inc. to help employers improve productivity and morale.

Louis is author of Granville Street, a best-selling novel which examines the lives of four people impacted by the opioid epidemic over one fateful week. He is available for speaking engagements about SUD in the workplace.

Debi Douma-Herren, Manager

Debi has twenty years of experience in Human Resources in the private and public sectors, including establishing policies, benefits plans, and Employee Assistance programs. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing and a Master of Science in Administration specializing in Organizational Leadership. She also holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certificates.

Amber Howard, Senior Consultant

Amber has seven years of human resources experience. She has supported clients in a variety of industries and company sizes. Her experience includes benefits, employee relations, organizational development, training, talent acquisition, team building, compliance, policy development and managing the complete employee lifecycle. She holds a BA degree and SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. She is passionate about fostering a progressive workplace that is mutually beneficial for the employee and employer.

Kelli Bond, Senior Consultant

Kelli holds SHRM-CP and Gallup Strengths Coach certifications as well as a BA in English and Education. She has implemented HR policies and procedures for some of the world’s leading internet companies. She is experienced in HR policies, handbooks, benefits, compensation, performance management, HR systems, and learning and development. Having experienced Substance Use Disorder first-hand, her insight lends a unique perspective into Recovery Friendly Workplaces’ mission. Her passion is to help employers create safe, inclusive, and profitable work environments.
